The Universality of Science is fundamental to scientific progress. To uphold this principle AMPERE'25 opposes any discrimination on the basis of such factors as ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, language, political stance, gender, or age. We pledge that during selection and preparation processes no attendees were discriminated against or excluded based on any of these factors.
AMPERE is a diverse community maintaining a reputation of a friendly, welcoming, inspiring and dynamic group. We’d like to keep it that way, which is why we ask all attendees, organisers and sponsors to follow this code of conduct
The organising committee of the AMPERE'25 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of their gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or nationality. All the rules and regulations of the host institution are applicable and will be implemented within the premises of the institution.
Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. In particular, sexual language and imagery are not appropriate during any conference activity, including during any informal social gatherings outside of the official program.
Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
We are committed to making participation in this community a harassment-free experience.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
Written or verbal comments that have the effect of excluding people based on membership of any specific group, such as (but not limited to) gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or nationality. This includes sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or exclusionary jokes.
Comments made, either through speech or chat on any meeting-related online platform (including social media), that are exclusionary, derogatory, or threatening toward another participant or community.
Explicit language and imagery.
Physical violence, violent threats, or language directed against another person, including incitement to violence, suicide, or self-harm.
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
Harassing photography or recording
Continuing to initiate interaction (including photography or recording) with someone after being asked to stop.
Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
All the rules and regulations of the host institution are applicable and will be implemented within the premises of the institution.
All AMPERE'25 participants, including organizers and guests, are subject to the anti-harassment policy. If an individual is made aware that they are contravening these guidelines or making participants uncomfortable, they are expected to desist immediately.
The AMPERE'25 organizers retain the right to take any actions to maintain a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender, at the sole discretion of the organizers, or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
The AMPERE'25 organizers may take action to redress anything designed to, or with the clear impact of, disrupting the event or making the environment hostile for any participants.
We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and social activities, whether organized by the conference or informally by other participants.
To report a violation of the AMPERE'25 Code of Conduct please let one of the members of the organizing team know, either in person at the conference or via email (lc-noida@iaps.info). All reports will be kept confidential. In some cases, we may determine that a public statement will need to be made. If that’s the case, the identities of all involved parties and reporters will remain confidential unless those individuals instruct us otherwise.
